AEIS写作常犯语法错误：常被误作“连词”的“副词”

　　正所谓“细节决定成败”，在AEIS英语写作学习中，稍不留神，可能会造成低分。比如很多学生还不清楚therefore与however的词性，今天小编为大家区分一下两组词汇的用法，借此看清therefore与however的真面目。

　　therefore与so

　　在表示“因此，所以”的时候，so是连词，可以连接两个简单句；但是，therefore是副词，不能直接用来连接两个简单句，想要正确使用therefore，就要注意标点符号的合理辅助以及句子的结构安排。

　　请看下面几个句子：

　　Jane is extremely pretty,somany boys adore her very much.

　　Jane is extremely pretty;therefore, many boys adore her very much.

　　Jane is extremely pretty.Therefore, many boys adore her very much.

　　我们可以看出，作为连接性副词，therefore不能直接用来连接两个简单句，但它可以放在句首，后面加逗号，也可以放在句中，前面用分号，后面用逗号，与左右分开。

　　but 与 however

　　在表示“然而，但是”的时候，but是连词，可以连接两个简单句；但是，however是副词，不能直接用来连接两个简单句，但是我们可以借助标点符号的合理辅助以及句子的结构安排来正确使用however。

　　请看下面几个句子：

　　Tom is quite youngbutvery experienced.

　　Tom likes sports,buthis wife likes music.

　　Tom decided to go to America. At last,however, he changed his mind.

　　Tom decided to go to America.However, he changed his mind at last.

　　Tom decided to go to America;however, he changed his mind at last.

　　Tom decided to go to America; he changed his mind at last,however.

　　注意：however也可以做连词，表示“不管怎样，无论以何种方式”，相当于no matter how。

　　请看以下几个句子：

　　I will finish the taskhoweverdifficult it is.

　　I will finish the taskno matter howdifficult it is.

　　Howeverdifficult the task is, I will finish it.

　　No matter howdifficult the task is, I will finish it.
